Bi-Lo Weekly Menu 1/6/14-1/12/14

I hope everyone had a lovely New Years! I know we have all been cooking a lot recently, so I tried to make these meals as "one dish" as possible. I have bolded the brand names for the items that are on sale to make it easier for you. Make sure to click on the links next to the days of the week for the written recipe. Southern Home herbs and spices are on sale this week. I really recommend having as many of them as possible. It makes finding things to cook so much easier and adds a lot of flavor! The total for this week including tax is $70.41 cents for 38 dinner servings. That's an average of $1.85 a serving. This only includes what you actually use of a product. Make sure to refrigerate, freeze or shelve anything leftover for a later use. That makes for cheaper meals on down the road.  Follow me on facebook, so you will know exactly when the menu comes out each week. Enjoy!

Bi-LO Weekly Menu 12/30/13-1/5/13

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you have been enjoying the holidays so far. This weeks menu is the most expensive one I've done, but take a look at what you get to eat. Yum! Top Round roast (London Broil) is always my boyfriend's favorite any way I cook it. It's usually the cheapest cut of beef, but it's so good! The total cost for this weeks menu is $85.96 including tax. That's an average of $2.26 a serving for a total of 36 dinner servings. Remember that this price only includes what you actually eat. You can refrigerate, freeze, or shelve anything you have leftover to make the upcoming weeks even cheaper. For those of you that have less people to cook for, feel free to scale the recipes down or have leftovers for lunch. The links to the recipes are in the links with the name of the recipe by the day of the week. I have separate shopping lists for each day because I know most people won't be able to do the entire menu. That's the beauty of it. You can pick one or all meals to cook. Pick out your favorites and test it out. I hope you enjoy these recipes. If you have any questions at all, comment below. I'll be happy to help you. Have a great week! - Ashley
